Selling

The process of selling a property involves a three main stages. As your property conveyancers, we will be there every step of the way, not only informing you on what’s going on and keeping you “in the loop”, but also helping you navigate through any minefields that may pop up along the way.

We are always giving you phone and email updates advising which stage you are currently at and where we will be headed to next.

Stage 1 – Preparing the Contract for Sale

The Contract for Sale needs to be prepared and contain all the relevant information supplied to the buyer to avoid any snags or second guessing from potential buyers.

Stage 2 – Contract Exchange

Once a finalised Contract has been agreed upon – it’s time for the exchange of contract – there’s no going back after this one.

 Stage 3 – Settlement

The final stage involves the discharge of the title from the vendors mortgagee to the buyers mortgagee. This is all done by your conveyancing solicitor.
